The interactive prototypes I create are meant to visualize my design approach to both stakeholders and end-users; often, there are many in each group.

When designing for unified complex workflows, it is essential to follow the happy paths, as well as exceptions - because in the latter, the process breaks. Moreover, the user interface must contextualize information and actions to many end-users, be it the engineer who needs to purchase a part, to the procurement manager who has to approve the purchase, to the controller who will audit the purchase, to the CFO who needs accurate reporting to make strategic decisions and recommendations to the firm’s leadership.

It might take years to realize complex workflow systems, and my prototypes, along with other artifacts I produce or oversee, helped drive the development process to success.
